If you are planning a rustic wedding, this is a must. I am so happy with how it turned out. I can't put the finish on until it is sold, though, because it is toxic to burn on most finishes. This wooden wedding ring pillow measures approximately 9 x 7 x .69. It converts easily into a wall plaque when all the festivities are over. I affixed the small heart-shaped log cookie onto the basswood round and drilled two holes through both logs. This is so you can insert jute or ribbon to tie the ring onto the wooden pillow. I also drilled two holes on the left side so that you can tie on flowers. Fresh flowers would be nice for the wedding...and then...when its function is that of wall decor, either dried flowers or beaded flowers would be nice. I found the quote around the border when I was searching different styles of wedding vows. I think it is a very tender and caring sentiment, don't you? On the log cookie, I burned, "With this ring, I thee wed." The real wedding ring can be replaced by a decorative one once it becomes wall decor. Burning the names of the bride and groom and the wedding date are included in the cost of the pillow plaque. I usually use a tung oil finish that gives the wood a slight golden tone and causes the colors of the grain to >POP< a bit. You can, however, request a certain color of stain if you would like. If you don't have a request, I will use tung oil. At check out, you will be prompted to type the names, the wedding date and a stain request, if any. To the buyer....I would SO love to have a photo of the ring bearer carrying it and later...on the wall of your new nest. ^♥^ $50.00 + S & H
