Wood burned and colored with oil pencil.
I have to say, this turned out to be an extremely beautiful clock!!! And it should be, because it took me forever! Images from one o'clock to eight weren't too difficult, but when it got to 9 - 12 o'clock, it became extremely difficult. The burning had to be so fine. I had to count and recount hands, fingers, legs, instruments. I took frequent breaks as my eyes crossed and my hands cramped. You can't easily erase wood-burning!! For all of these reasons, I am going to show you many close-up pictures for your perusal should you be interested in ordering one of these. I would advise ordering as early as possible.
